The significance of #79

#79 was my Uncle Paul's racing number. He is my ultimate hero and the reason I've wanted to race everything I can get my hands on. He was the CSBK Amateur 600 Champion in 2007 and rode Pro for BMW in 2008 and 2009.

When he first started racing in 2005, my Dad was helping him choose his number, and recommended the #79 to represent his close friend, Fred, as 79 was his entry number when he joined the Royal Air Force.

I wanted to keep carrying on the tradition because of my Uncle Paul and my Dad's friend, Fred, which is why I also ride with #79.
